A Dangerous Precedent - Burnham - Unelected PM

The probable coronation of Andy Burnham set a dangerous precedent in British politics. Previous changes of Prime Minister for example under the last Conservative government were in Theresa May and Boris Johnsons case followed by an election. Subsequent changes Liz Truss (voted in by party members and MP's. Rishi Sunak was installed without competition as he had been the previous 2nd placed and no others MP stood against him. They were all bound by the collective responsibility of the manifesto the government they were part of was elected on.
This is different. Andy Burnham was Mayor of Manchester with 2 years left to serve. Due to the total incompetence and failure of Kier Starmers government along with the subsequent lack of anyone remotely capable of leading the nation. Burnham saw an opportunity to become fast tracked to the premiership.
Josh Simons resigned his seat in Makerfied to allow Burnham to stand and smooth his path the be PM. Josh Simons is voraceously ambitious and no doubt has an "arrangement" with Burnham to get a plumb position in his government.
Simons had to resign in disgrace. After entering parliament, Simons had a meteoric ascent, quickly becoming a ministerial aide and then being promoted to a job in the Cabinet Office in September last year. But he resigned from Starmer’s government in February over his role in Labour Together’s commissioning of the public affairs agency APCO to investigate journalists’ reporting on the thinktank. In other words a sinister attempt to intimidate and control the media.
Now here we are, Burnham is the MP and prime minister elect with no involvement in previous manifesto pledges or policy. Unless he is challenged and has to state what he stands for and what his policies are the country in walking blindly into the unknown.
This should never be allowed. Its dictatorship and an affront to our democracy.
Burnham !!! Call an election state your policies and seek a mandate now!!
